Back to nature activities become a tourism trend in Bali. This island of paradise offers many possibilities to these kinds of activities. Peter Struder, the owner of Bali Eco Resort said this in the grand opening of Bali Eco Resort that located at Bayad hamlet, Gianyar.
According to this guy who has been living in Bali for 15 years, lots of tourists eager to experience Balinese life. He argued that without really experiencing Balinese life , ones can’t feel and know how beautiful Bali is. “Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua are not the real Bali. You have to go back to nature and experience Balinese life to know exactly the beauty of this island.”
He said from his experience dealing with overseas tourists, many were interested on Balinese activities, like planting herbal plants, making sculptures, and making oblations. So far he already dealing with 50 nationalities, most of them came from European state.
“Many tourists from Germany speaking countries and also lots of Indian are interesting on learning Balinese activity,” he stated.
Struder who refuses calling his interest on tourism industry as business said nature that surrounds the resort area becomes one of many attractions offers by Bali Eco resort. He explained there are 7 villas, 1 spa, and 1 seminary center located around one hectare land. In each villa, guests can see right to the beautiful scenery once they open the front door of the bedroom area.
Manager of Bali Eco Resort Ketut Sunarta, said guest will also have the opportunity to participate on local activities and sports, like badminton and football. “While staying in the resort, people will be doing lots of activity, including learning to make scluptures, dance, and make oblations,” he stated.
He added in the near time, they will build Bali Eco Agriculture in one hectare area outside the resort area, where tourists can learn to plant traditional herbs and other traditional plants.
